Elizabeth Rasonable has transformed her family's livelihood through her innovative spirit. Her husband, a piña farmer, produces the fibers, and to support his income, Elizabeth began weaving piña fabrics, leveraging their direct supply. Starting with just 10 weavers, she now manages over 150 artisans and farmers in their community. Known for its translucent, ivory hue and elegant luster, piña fabric is remarkable for its delicacy and simplicity. This led Elizabeth to supply piña fabrics to different areas, designers, and manufacturers of barongs and homewares like placemats and table runners. Elizabeth's dedication ensures the preservation and growth of this traditional craft, fostering a sustainable future for her community.
